Description
Designer: Andrea Parisio
Vetra is a piece of furniture conceived as an architectural structure, that is built through simple, compact, and solid volumes. The monolithic base – covered in marble, steel, wood, or lacquer – forms the main support of the storage units, with doors or drawers, in oak or glossy and matt lacquer. These separate elements, which come in three widths of 50, 100, and 150 cm, can be freely positioned along the base to form a variety of compositions that meet both practical and aesthetic needs. It is also possible to insert, move, or remove the elements later.
As optional additions: two different sizes of cylindrical cushions to clip on the base and, for the storage blocks, a leather top that can be placed directly over the existing one. A project, then, that is both broad and modular: Vetra can be visually uniform and compact while being materially heterogeneous, providing the ideal flexibility to suit the atmosphere of different environments.
